WOODWARD 8237-1597 Ultra high pressure intelligent fuel control valve
Power input: High voltage/high voltage (HV/HV) input.
Output form: It can provide dual redundant trip relay output (2 out of 3 voting architecture), or choose three independent non voting trip relay outputs, with separate alarm relays, and 4-20mA speed reading output for monitoring. It supports Modbus communication protocol for data exchange with other systems.
Installation method: Cabin wall installation design, suitable for installation on walls or brackets next to turbines or equipment, with a protection level based on IP56.
Product Performance
Overspeed and acceleration detection: The speed and acceleration of the turbine rotor are accurately monitored through a magnetic reluctance transmitter (MPU). When overspeed or excessive acceleration is detected, a shutdown command can be quickly issued to the turbine’s trip system.
Multiple protection function: It has multiple protection mechanisms, such as using a special MPU disconnection detection circuit for the speed sensor input of each module, verifying whether the MPU is correctly connected before the turbine runs, and a special stall detection logic to verify the function of the MPU during turbine operation. An automatic overspeed testing program can also be configured to regularly conduct overspeed testing on each module and record and report the test results.
Anti sulfur pollution: Using special conformal coating materials, it has excellent long-term protection against H ₂ S and SO ₂ gases, and meets the international standard IEC 721-3-3 1994 environmental level 3C2.
Online maintenance: Its three module design allows users to easily replace one module (A, B, C) when the turbine is running normally online. The backplane plug and play structure and inter module learning function enhance the convenience of replacement.
Safety certification: Complies with IEC 61508 SIL-3 certification and API 670 and API 612 standards, with high reliability and safety.
