WOODWARD 3522-1004 Electronic Speed Controller

WOODWARD 3522-1004 is an industrial-grade electronic speed controller, specifically designed for diesel engines, gas turbines and reciprocating internal combustion engines. Its core function is to receive speed sensor signals (e.g., magnetic pickup, Hall-effect) via closed-loop PID control algorithm, calculate the deviation, and output 4-20mA current signal to drive fuel actuators, realizing stable speed control (e.g., idle speed, rated speed, overspeed protection) and dynamic load regulation. The module integrates RS485 communication interface, supports Modbus RTU protocol, and can interact with PLC and HMI systems in real time for operation data; it is equipped with Woodward's dedicated configuration software interface, allowing customization of speed setpoints, protection thresholds (e.g., overspeed shutdown value) and control parameters (proportional/integral/derivative coefficients); built-in fault diagnosis module can monitor sensor faults, actuator abnormalities and power fluctuations, and automatically switch to safe mode (e.g., decelerate to idle speed) when faults are triggered.
