TRICONEX 4118 7400145-100 is an Enhanced Intelligent Communication Module (EICM) produced by TRICONEX, serving as a core component of the TRICONEX TMR (Triple Modular Redundant) fault-tolerant control system. It primarily enables two-way data interaction between Tricon controllers and third-party devices (such as PLC, HMI, and intelligent instruments), undertaking key tasks of signal transmission, data exchange, and system coordination in industrial safety systems. Adopting the TMR design concept, it integrates 4 independent serial ports and 1 parallel port, supports RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 interfaces and Modbus RTU/ASCII communication protocols, and can be configured as master or slave mode.
