SHINKAWA VM-5N SST-2194-001-P001G is an industrial-grade differential expansion monitoring module launched by Shinkawa Co., Ltd. (Japan), belonging to the VM-5 series rotating machinery condition monitoring system. Its core function is to real-time monitor the differential expansion parameters between the rotor and cylinder of rotating equipment such as steam turbines and generators, realizing thermal expansion condition control and fault warning during equipment startup, shutdown and operation. Designed in compliance with American Petroleum Institute (API) Standard 670, the product supports adaptation with front-end sensors such as VK-143P, FK-143F and VC series, and can be installed in dedicated slots of racks like VM-5H3 and VM-5W1, adapting to the needs of large turbine TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation) systems and small-to-medium rotating machinery. Integrating a 5-digit LCD digital display and bar graph indication, it supports front-panel button operation and parameter configuration, enabling status check without shutdown, and can be directly connected to PLC and DCS systems, serving as a key monitoring component to ensure the thermal safety operation of rotating equipment.
