Prosoft MVI56E-MCM Enhanced Modbus Communication Module

Prosoft MVI56E-MCM is an industrial-grade enhanced Modbus communication module launched by Prosoft Technology (USA), belonging to the MVI56E series. Its core functions are to realize cross-protocol data exchange and control signal transmission between Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/GuardLogix processors and Modbus devices. The single-slot module can be directly inserted into the 1756 series ControlLogix backplane, supporting Modbus TCP/IP, RTU and ASCII protocols, each of which can be configured as master or slave mode. Equipped with 1 10/100Mbps Ethernet port and 2 independently configurable serial ports, it shares a 10,000-word user-defined database and realizes asynchronous data transmission with the processor through ladder logic or AOI instructions. Built-in 32-bit RISC processor and 4MB application memory, integrated 4-character scrolling LED diagnostic display, supporting CIPconnect technology and RIUP (Remove and Insert Under Power) function. Certified by CE and UL/cUL hazardous area standards, its protective design is suitable for standard industrial environments. It can connect sensors, instruments, inverters and other devices, building a stable heterogeneous communication bridge for industrial automation systems.​
