KONGSBERG RMP201-8 Input/Output (I/O) Module

KONGSBERG RMP201-8 is a marine-grade remote multi-purpose input/output (I/O) module, part of Kongsberg Maritime's automation solutions. Its core function is to realize digital signal acquisition, transmission and control command execution in marine and industrial scenarios. The module adopts a highly integrated design, integrating signal processing, communication adaptation and fault diagnosis modules into a compact unit, which can be directly connected to dynamic positioning systems and support real-time control of ship position and heading. Its modular structure allows flexible expansion of channels according to the number of devices, establishing a data link with the ship's main control system through a proprietary communication interface to transmit sensor status and actuator commands in real time. It also has a key parameter recording function to store navigation data and fault codes, providing data support for maintenance. Designed for harsh marine environments, the module features vibration resistance, shock resistance and corrosion resistance, and can be directly installed in ship engine rooms or open-air equipment cabins without additional protective devices.​
