The Honeywell FX - USI - 0002 is a universal safety interface module specifically designed for Honeywell's Safety Manager System (SMS). In the fields of industrial automation and process control, it serves as a standardized connection bridge between Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) and the SMS, enabling the efficient and stable integration of various SIFs into the SMS. This module can flexibly support a variety of SIFs and can be installed in the controller chassis to provide a stable connection for Ethernet and serial communication with external devices (such as Experion™ PKS and Safety Builder), ensuring smooth communication and guaranteeing the transmission of safety signals and the interaction of control commands during industrial production.
