Honeywell FS-SDO-0824 Secure Digital Output Module

The Honeywell FS-SDO-0824 is a safe digital output module specifically designed for industrial automation and control systems. This module features 8 output channels, each capable of providing 24Vdc voltage and 550mA current, and can drive loads up to 13W. It is suitable for driving resistive elements such as lamps or inductive devices like solenoids. To ensure the safe operation of inductive loads, each output is equipped with a suppression diode, and all outputs and suppression diodes have passed safety application tests. The module is equipped with a watchdog timer. If no valid signal is received within a specific time, it will reset the output to ensure system stability and reliability. It is compatible with a variety of Honeywell safety controllers, such as Safety Manager 4000, Safety Manager 5000, and Safety Manager 6000, and also supports third-party safety controllers compliant with EN61508 SIL2 or SIL3 standards, making it convenient to integrate into existing automation systems. The module adopts a solid metal housing with a protection level of NEMA 4X and IP66, capable of withstanding dust, moisture, and other harmful substances in harsh industrial environments. It uses a DIN rail mounting method, which is simple and quick for installation and maintenance.
