Honeywell FC-SDO-0824 Secure Digital Output Module
The Honeywell FC - SDO - 0824 is an 8 - channel fail - safe digital output module for safety - critical applications. This module ensures that the output is turned off in the event of a power outage or other system failures, safeguarding system safety. It has a built - in watchdog timer. If a valid signal is not received within a specific period, the timer will reset the output. This module is compatible with a variety of Honeywell safety controllers, such as SafetyManager4000, SafetyManager5000, and SafetyManager6000. Its outputs can drive loads including resistive elements (such as lamps) or inductive devices (such as solenoids). Each output is equipped with a suppression diode for inductive loads to ensure safe operation. The outputs are divided into two groups of four, each with its own secondary means of de - energizing, enhancing the selectivity of shutdown in case of channel failures.
