GE VMIVME1150 Real time controller module

GE VMIVME1150 is a 3U VMEbus industrial-grade real-time controller, specifically designed for industrial real-time control and multi-device collaboration scenarios. Its core function is to realize real-time data acquisition, processing and control command issuance of industrial equipment through PowerPC architecture processor and VME64x bus interface. It also integrates multiple types of communication interfaces such as Ethernet and serial port, compatible with VMEbus standard specifications and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks). The module fits 3U VME standard racks, supports multi-master device bus arbitration, and can serve as a core node of industrial real-time control network to connect I/O modules, sensors, actuators and other equipment, acting as a key component for high-reliability real-time control in power, rail transit and other fields.​

Product Performance​

The processor’s single-cycle instruction execution time is ≤2ns, supporting real-time operating systems (VxWorks, QNX) with task scheduling delay ≤1ms, meeting industrial-grade real-time control requirements. The VME64x bus interface supports 32-bit/64-bit data transmission with a maximum rate of 160MB/s, and the bus arbitration response time is ≤500ns during multi-master device concurrent access, avoiding bus congestion.​

The Ethernet port has a data transmission delay of ≤10ms, supporting industrial-grade real-time communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP) to realize real-time data interaction with upper monitoring systems. Built-in hardware-level fault diagnosis circuit can monitor the status of key components such as processor, memory, bus interface and power supply, with diagnostic coverage ≥98%, and fault information is uploaded to monitoring nodes in real time via serial port or Ethernet.​
