GE VMIVME-7455 Multi protocol VMEbus communication module

GE VMIVME-7455 is an industrial-grade multi-protocol VMEbus communication module launched under GE's VMIC series, belonging to the VMEbus network interconnection product line, later continued in production and technical support by Abaco Systems. As the interconnection core between VME systems and industrial Ethernet/serial networks, the module integrates dual-port Gigabit Ethernet, multi-channel serial communication and protocol conversion functions. It supports mainstream industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP and PROFINET, enabling seamless data interaction between VMEbus devices, PLCs, SCADA systems and HMIs. It features hardware-level redundancy design and real-time fault diagnosis functions, supports hot-swapping and module synchronous operation, and adopts an industrial-grade reinforced structure adapting to wide-temperature and strong electromagnetic interference environments.
