GE VME-PMC-CADDY VME bus carrier board

GE VME-PMC-CADDY is an industrial-grade VMEbus carrier board launched by General Electric (GE), specifically designed for system integration of PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) modules, belonging to the GE Fanuc VME series hardware products. As a connection hub between VMEbus and PMC modules, the product can accommodate two single-width PMC modules or one double-width PMC module, and realize signal conversion and data interaction between VME and PCI buses through the UNIVERSE II CA91C142 bridging chip. All I/O signals of PMC modules are routed to the VMEbus connector P2, supporting master/slave function switching and 4-level arbitration mechanism, complying with VME64 and IEEE P1386 specifications. It adopts a low-power compact structure with status indication and fault feedback functions, adapting to harsh electromagnetic environments and wide-temperature working conditions in industrial sites, providing hardware support for function expansion of control systems.
