GE HYDRAN M2 Transformer online monitoring equipment

GE HYDRAN M2 is a compact permanently mounted online transformer monitoring device produced by Grid Solutions, a brand under GE Vernova. It is a core component of the power transformer condition monitoring system, specially designed for transformer health monitoring scenarios in the power industry. It is mainly responsible for real-time monitoring tasks of dissolved gases and moisture content in transformer oil, adopting vacuum-resistant gas extraction membrane technology and built-in temperature conditioning system, with high reliability, high precision and strong environmental adaptability. Developed in strict compliance with IEC 60567 and IEEE C57.104 standards, it is compatible with various transformers with mineral insulating oils or ester based fluids (natural and synthetic), can be seamlessly connected to power automation systems, and can complete on-site deployment without complex modification. It supports hot swapping and online maintenance, is easy to operate and debug, specially built for transformer health management in power facilities and industrial plants, providing stable and reliable early fault warning guarantee.

High Precision Measurement Performance: Adopts vacuum-resistant gas extraction membrane technology and built-in temperature conditioning system, moisture measurement accuracy reaches ±2% RH, gas measurement accuracy reaches ±10% of reading, ±25ppm (equivalent Hydrogen), which can accurately collect dissolved gas and moisture content data in transformer oil without distortion or drift, meeting the strict accuracy requirements of power equipment monitoring.

Early Fault Warning Performance: Continuously monitors dissolved gas and moisture content in transformer oil, can detect potential internal faults of transformers in advance, and timely notify operation and maintenance personnel through programmable dry contact relay alarms, minimizing the risk of unplanned outages.

Flexible Adaptability Performance: Supports two measurement type options of composite gas or Hydrogen only, compatible with various transformers with mineral insulating oils or ester based fluids (natural and synthetic), and can be quickly integrated without replacing existing equipment.

Easy Maintenance Performance: Supports online hot swapping, the module can be replaced without stopping the transformer operation, equipped with complete self-diagnostic functions and remote monitoring tools, which can quickly locate fault points, shorten maintenance time and reduce operation and maintenance costs.

Wide Environmental Adaptability Performance: The operating temperature covers -40℃ to +70℃, which can operate stably in extremely cold or high-temperature environments, adapts to various harsh industrial sites, no constant temperature control required, and trouble-free operation all-weather.

Communication Compatibility Performance: Supports RS485 and optional TCP/IP communication protocols, can be seamlessly connected to SCADA or DCS systems, supports remote equipment diagnosis and parameter configuration, ensuring smooth system linkage and centralized management and control.
