GE Energy HYDRAN H201Ci-1 on-line monitoring device

GE Energy HYDRAN H201Ci-1 is an on-line monitoring device for insulation status of oil-immersed power equipment, specifically designed for core power equipment such as transformers and reactors. Its core function is to real-time collect characteristic gases (hydrogen, acetylene, methane, etc.) dissolved in the insulation oil of equipment, calculate gas concentration through high-precision sensors and dedicated analysis algorithms, generate monitoring data and upload it to the operation and maintenance background system. The device can automatically identify internal equipment faults such as partial discharge and overheating, trigger sound-light alarm and remote notification, provide accurate data support for predictive maintenance of power equipment, and avoid power supply interruption caused by sudden faults.​

Product Performance​

  • Multi-Gas High-Precision Detection: Simultaneously monitors 7 types of characteristic gases dissolved in transformer oil. The detection accuracy of core fault gases (H₂, C₂H₂) reaches ±5% reading, which can accurately capture the gas concentration changes of early internal equipment faults and avoid missed or misjudgments.​
  • Real-Time Monitoring and Rapid Alarm: The shortest detection cycle can be set to 15 minutes, with response time ≤30 minutes. When the gas concentration exceeds the preset threshold, it immediately triggers local sound-light alarm (red LED + buzzer) and remote system alarm (SMS/platform notification), gaining disposal time for operation and maintenance.​
  • Wide Environmental Adaptability: The operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C covers high-latitude cold regions and high-temperature outdoor environments. The IP54 protection class can resist rain, snow and dust, and can be installed outdoors without additional protective boxes.​
  • Strong EMC Immunity: The main unit adopts an electromagnetic shielding shell, and the sampling line is equipped with surge protection (10kV/5kA). The data transmission bit error rate is ≤10⁻⁹ in the strong electromagnetic environment of the substation, ensuring stable and reliable monitoring data.​
  • Intelligent Fault Diagnosis: Built-in GE’s patented “DGA Trend Analysis Algorithm”, which can automatically identify typical fault types such as partial discharge, low-temperature overheating (150-300°C) and high-temperature overheating (>300°C), generate monthly/quarterly fault trend reports, and assist operation and maintenance personnel in formulating maintenance plans.​
