Bently Nevada 3500/42M 176449-02 is an industrial-grade vibration and position monitoring module for rotating machinery, belonging to the Bently Nevada 3500 comprehensive monitoring system. Its core functions include real-time acquisition, processing and over-limit alarm of key parameters such as radial vibration, axial position, differential expansion and eccentricity of rotating equipment like turbogenerators, compressors, fans and pumps, providing data support for equipment health status evaluation. Adopting a multi-channel independent acquisition architecture, this module is compatible with Bently Nevada 3300/3500 series eddy current sensors, supports seamless integration with 3500 frame controllers, has online self-test and fault diagnosis functions, passes SIL 2 functional safety certification and CE certification, adopts rack mounting, and is suitable for rotating machinery monitoring scenarios with high reliability requirements.

Product Performance

The module adopts 4-channel parallel acquisition technology, with a data sampling rate of 10kHz per channel, vibration measurement accuracy ±0.1% FS, and axial position measurement accuracy ±0.02mm, which can capture small parameter changes during equipment operation. It integrates a digital filtering algorithm, supporting an adjustable filtering frequency band of 5Hz-1kHz, effectively filtering out electromagnetic noise and mechanical interference signals in industrial sites.

Equipped with online self-test function, it real-time monitors channel acquisition circuits, sensor connection status and module power supply, with fault diagnosis coverage ≥99%. Fault information is uploaded to the controller in real time via the frame bus, supporting “first-out fault” recording for easy fault tracing. It supports multi-level alarm threshold setting (alarm/trip), threshold configuration is completed via 3500 configuration software, and alarm response time ≤100ms.

Fully compatible with Bently Nevada 3500/05 frame controller and 3500/22M display module, it supports data storage, trend analysis and report generation via System 1® equipment health management software. The mean time between failures (MTBF) is ≥500,000 hours, meeting the 24/7 continuous monitoring needs of rotating machinery.
