The ABB AO910B is a remote I/O module specifically designed for applications in hazardous areas and complies with ATEX standards. It has 4 analog output channels with an output signal of 0/4…20mA, suitable for driving various actuators. The module supports redundancy for both power and communication, allows configuration changes while the system is running, and has hot swap functionality, enabling component replacement during system operation. All components are coated with G3, which can effectively cope with harsh environments. At the same time, the module can detect shorts and breaks and has electrical isolation between the output/bus and output/power, ensuring high safety. It can also be configured and diagnosed excellently through the Field Device Tool/Device Type Manager (FDT/DTM).
